Warmbad (Warmbaths)
Bela Bela

This holiday town is named after the 50 degree centigrade spring water, around which an extensive spa and holiday resort has been developed. It is only an one hour drive from Gauteng which make it close enough to the South African International Airport at Johannesburg so that international visitors can reach it easily.

One can also partake in other water sports at the Warmbaths Dam. There is also a Bird Sanctuary, the rock formation at Buyskop, and the Voortrekker Grave of Christina Pretorius. The Mokopa Reptile Park and Thaba Kwena Crocodile Farm will entertain visitors by showing them the reptiles that occur in this region.

Recreational facilities include a golf course, tennis, squash, netball, and jukskei courts. There is a two day hiking trail as well as a popular 4x4 trail.

Historical attractions include an Anglo-Boer War blockhouse.
